In accordance with Health and Safety legislation it is a requirement that a Decontamination Statement, which has been completed and signed by an authorised person, accompany all liquid handling devices dispatched to us.
If a pipette is used with hazardous material it is essential that a pipette is decontaminated to ensure safety of our Calibration Scientists and others.
It is important to check the manufacturer's recommendations prior to pipette decontamination, especially in relation to autoclaving. This is to ensure that the solutions/procedures used in decontamination are compatible with the pipette.
Please download the below Decontamination Statement and sign for inclusion when submitting your pipettes for calibration.
